As being a True Lasallian
I've been studying in De La Salle University or college ever since We graduated by high school. Now i'm already a senior scholar here in the university and i believe I already get the gist of being a genuine Lasallian. Like a Lasallian is somewhat more than the usual term " achievers for The almighty and country". For almost one hundred years of Lasallian education being present in the country, you will find two things that could surely establish what it means to become Lasallian. 1st, it's about sticking to the ideals and fighting for what is right with no trace of prejudice - just like what St . La Salle do for the better of his fellowmen. Second, becoming a Lasallian is additionally about getting selfless for your responsibility to contribute in building a better future for our country by using what we have learned in this institution.
Being a LaSallian will be able to provide those who are in need. an individual who can sacrifice his/her peace of mind in exchange to get a heart gratifying experience. An absolute Lasallian can be described as person who features passion in reaching those people who are unnoticed and down; one that can give his/her time and reveal his/her ability to others. He is someone in whose heart is definitely after for the smile of any child who hunger, in whose happiness may be the laughter of those who have decreased and sought for assistance.
On the interview with Close friend Gene, a 65-year outdated Lasallian brother currently given in Entre ma Salle School Taft, Manila, I have noticed how dedicated he is in serving the school and sharing the values penalized a true Lasallian. For him, a true Lasallian is all about an alumnus with the university having willingness to aid others; to demonstrate concern and professionalism to his friends. Furthermore, this individual should be well trained, knowledgeable, and simple to deal with. Last but not least, he ought to be simple and right to the point.
