Cesar Estrada Chavez was created on March 31, 1927 on a farm near Yuma, Arizona. His family was formerly from Northern Mexico (Chihuahua). His parents Librado and Juana Chavez brought up their children in Arizona’s Gila valley. Cesar’s father proved helpful in his ranch and in addition owned his own store and pool area hall.
